• Work with the leadership teams of Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development Corporations nationwide to identify and secure the resources necessary to execute the strategic initiatives that improve their communities

• Manage funding campaigns from start to finish

BEFORE I JOINED RDG, I …

• Was the first Chief Operating Officer for SustainSC, a statewide startup nonprofit bringing commerce and conservation together to keep South Carolina competitive in the economic development space.

• Served as Director of Stakeholder Relations for the Charleston Regional Development Alliance, leading and managing the very same types of strategic plans and funding campaigns that Resource Development Group will be working on with your organizations.

• Worked in commercial real estate, served as Special Assistant to the President of Trident Technical College, and helped write the budget for the State of South Carolina as a staffer on the SC House Ways and Means Committee.

I WAS EDUCATED AT

Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, where I received a B.S. in Political Science, and the University of South Carolina (THE U.S.C.) in Columbia, SC where I earned a Master of Public Administration.

 

WHEN I’M NOT WORKING, YOU CAN FIND ME…

• Following all things involving the Gamecocks, Raiders, Blue Jays (the Canadian ones) and Tottenham Hotspur

• Training Shaw, my “Huskador” puppy

• Working out, running, golfing, and pickleballing

• Watching the wheels go round and round

 

FUN FACT

Although I’m a Gamecock, both my kids go to Clemson - wait, that’s not fun…how about this - I helped write the State Infrastructure Bank legislation which funded the Ravenel Bridge in my home - Charleston, SC!
